    Position Title:   Presentation Specialist

    Reports to:         Associate Creative Director

    Brief Job Summary:

    The Presentation Specialist is a professional with expertise in the creation of Power Point presentations as well as other visual presentation software. This position will be responsible for leading the company’s efforts in the development of effective, persuasive, high level PowerPoint and other visual presentations for current clients and new business opportunities. The Presentation Specialist will be the go-to expert for PowerPoint and multimedia presentations. As a member of the Creative Services team, this position will work closely with client services and scientific services groups to determine the look and feel for each presentation. This position will also provide back-up graphic design and production assistance for the Creative Services team as needed.

    Responsibilities of Position

    • Utilize graphic design tools and software to develop and create custom PowerPoint and Keynote presentations and templates with content
    • Incorporate the design strategy with photos, audio, video and animation via PowerPoint and Flash presentations
    • Design and prepare engaging presentations with compelling content and visuals
    • Collaborate with Brand team and subject matter experts
    • Conduct image sourcing as needed
    • Own the process of design from concept to completion, including proofing for accuracy and adherence to brand style guides
    • Integrate all media within PowerPoint for quick editing
    • Follow quality control measures including SOPs and internal reviews
    • Pitch in with other Studio tasks that arise

    Brief Job Summary:

    The Medical Director serves as the medical and scientific information source for our Rare Disease Center of Excellence account team and related clients. The Medical Director is responsible for assuring that all projects are medically and scientifically accurate, and that the recommended communication and education strategies are clinically sound. This position will lead the medical writing activities within a project, including primary responsibility for direction, scope, organization of specific documents, and ensuring high quality with regard to scientific content, organization, clarity, accuracy, format, consistency, and adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines, styles, and processes.

    Responsibilities of Position

    Strategic Insight

    • Proactively identify strategic opportunities through critical analysis and interpretation of data and review of the literature (new and organic business growth)
    • Communicate and collaborate with Clinical Experts, clients, and the internal team on programs/projects to assure scientific accuracy while executing strategies to meet marketing objectives
    • Build relationships with Clinical Experts and advocates
    • Prepare/provide competitive intelligence/situation analyses/gap analyses for the account team and clients by collecting and analyzing available data

  • Senior Program Manager

    Position Title:    Senior Program Manager

    Reports to:         Group Account Director- Rare Disease CoE

    Brief Job Summary:

    As an integral part of the Account Services team, the Program Manager is responsible for working closely with the Account Director/Manager in the development and coordination of all client projects to include publication planning, promotional education, KOL engagement and other projects or programs.  The Program Manager is responsible for assisting with proposal development, financial tracking/reporting/budgeting, project timelines and management and maintaining project status reports.  This position ensures that all project elements are implemented according to client objectives and specifications on time and within budget.

    Responsibilities of Position

    Program Management

    • Identification and recruitment of faculty
    • Maintaining relationships with clinical experts, authors, medical writers publishers, and editors (or relevant journals)
    • Submit materials to journals and congresses as needed under the direction of authors (eg, scientific abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, review articles, symposia proceedings)
    • Work with authors and medical directors to develop communication objectives by focusing on appropriate publication and presentation forums for the preclinical and clinical scientific data
    • Develop project proposals and budgets with account director
    • Oversee development, maintenance and updating of project timelines
    • Participate in client status conferences and be able to provide accurate updates
    • Organize and prepare internal/external client status, new project kick-off, and post-conference debriefing meeting reports
    • Review pre/post-project documentation and approve when appropriate
    • Assist in obtaining and the execution of project materials information from faculty et al
    • Function as program management intermediary with event planners/managers and faculty/participants regarding meeting logistics (pre-and post-program)

    • Attend on-site and industry meetings, as required

     

    Interdepartmental Roles and Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain electronic and paper client files for all client programs
    • Liaise with all internal departments to collect relevant proposal/budget information
    • Act as program mediator with Creative Services for project material implementation
    • Primary contact with Editorial Services point-person to advance project deliverables e.g., faculty presentations, program materials
    • Partake in development and evaluation of project materials with program/account team, and oversee fulfillment
    • Provide final program team approval of project materials, prior to account director
    • Periodically review gross profit report with account director to insure accuracy of individual projects
    • Review all vendor invoices and prepare final billing checklist
    • Follow-up with team members, internal departments, client, faculty and vendors for information required for thorough project implementation
    • Prepare jobs for final billing and approval from account director
