The Centers of Excellence Approach
The CoE approach uses a dedicated team in the therapeutic areas of Rare Disease and Oncology. Connexion team members maintain strong relationships with clinical experts and patient advocates, who serve as advisors during message, strategic, and tactical development.
Our focus allows our Medical Directors and Medical Writers to leverage their advanced understanding of the science behind the products we support. We consistently monitor literature and attend, sponsor, and participate in medical conferences throughout the year. Our connectedness ensures that our communication plans are comprehensive; at initiation, projects are expected to fill a gap or address a need.
Susan Stein, MPH, founded Connexion Healthcare more than 15 years ago. It is her vision of furthering patient care that devised the CoEs, empowered the teams, and sculpted Connexion Healthcare into the top-notch agency it is today. Her skills are evidenced by her appointment in 2015 to the Global GenesTM Board of Directors and recognition from Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M) as a finalist for Agency Marketer of the Year in 2014. Her career has been highlighted in various trade journals, including Philadelphia Business Journal and PharmaVoice. She received her Master’s degree in Public Health from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council.
