Newtown, PA—September 12, 2014—Connexion Healthcare announces the addition of Duke Duguay, PhD, as Associate Medical Director. In this role, Dr Duguay will be responsible for providing overall medical direction for clients and internal staff, along with medical expertise for new business opportunities related to the continued growth and enhancement of the Rare Disease and Neuroscience Centers of Excellence.
Dr Duguay comes to Connexion Healthcare with 9 years of experience in medical writing and medical direction. His previous positions include Assistant Medical Director for a company that provides full-service content development for the professional medical community, and Senior Medical Writer for a medical communications company. In all of his previous roles, Dr Duguay provided scientific support services for multiple medical communications and education projects in various therapeutic areas.
Dr Duguay earned his PhD and MA, both in molecular biology, at Princeton University. He received his bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr Duguay is a member of the American Medical Writers Association and the International Society of Medical Publications Professionals.
